In these last days of summer we are looking for ways to keep this summer alive during fall and winter. And how could you really do that better than with one of the most popular design classics – the hanging rattan chair? This chair comes from Denmark, where you probably know a thing or two about a long winter. It was designed in 1959 by the Danish designers Nanna & Jørgen Ditzel. And was first made by Sika Design, one of the oldest Scandinavian manufacturers of rattan and wicker furniture. It quickly became a design classic for good reason. You can use it as a swing on the porch outdoors, but we love to see it indoors as extra seating. What better way to capture the carefree spirit of summer than swinging inside?
