We asked our friends at Concepts & Colorways to look into some of the season’s best interior color trends, inspired by the recent runways. Fortunately, lacquer colors are their specialty.

It’s always fun to watch the hottest fashion color trends get into our homes. Here, at Concepts & colorsWe keep an eye on these color trends and look for ways to transform them into beautiful living spaces. Indeed that Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report for Fall / Winter 2018 has an exciting collection of new colors to work with. These colors captured our hearts as fashion pieces on the New York Fashion Week catwalk. But they would also look great as pops of color to match the latest color trends in interior design.

The color collection in this seasonal report ranges from burnt oranges, bold blues, deep reds, bright yellows, vivid purples, and my personal favorite, teal. There are also some key neutrals to choose from, including an off-white, dark blue, cool gray, and a natural beige. I can imagine all these color trends in interior design that go perfectly with a new room freshening up. In fact, Décor Aid designers recently used these in their own interior design projects.

This one is my personal favorite so I’ll highlight it first. It’s a deep teal color that could be called teal, but Pantone calls it Quetzal Green. This color is a great choice for mid-century modern rooms or any room where you want a vintage-inspired feel. The Quetzal Green Chairs add a fun retro look to the modern living room design above.
