
A family of four living on the Upper East Side wanted to add a splash of color to their living room and create a modern, luxurious feel in their apartment. But we found that their oversized brown couches and taupe walls blocked out the sunlight, making it difficult to create the space we wanted.

As a dual-purpose room, the living room had to be suitable for both accommodating guests and comfortable enough for a weekend game night.
