A bunk bed is one of the several types of beds available on the market. They are designed to have two or three bed frames above the initial bed frame below. It is a bed that maximizes space because two or three people can sleep in a room on different bed frames that share the same stand. There are different types of bunk beds including standard, double, loft and triple bunk beds.

Straight stairs
These are often the most common stairs available on bunk beds. The stairs are in most cases of wood and can be of any shape. It is constructed as a ladder that you climb to access the upper bed.

This is also made of wood in most cases. The staircase is designed in such a way that it leans against the wall for support. It is advantageous in terms of storage in the form of space under the stairs.
U-shaped stairs
As with the other type of stairs, U-shaped stairs are also made of wood. It provides great storage space during and is very safe compared to the other types. It is really the most popular type of staircase found on bunk beds used by children.
Bunk beds with stairs are very popular because they allow several people or children to sleep in a room that might otherwise be small.
