West Village Apartment

With New York apartments, it can often be impossible to strike a balance between space and location. Our client loved the block her apartment was in but couldn’t find the right layout for the space. So she got in touch with Decor Aid and asked us to resolve her dilemma by creating a cohesive space in her small town.

We started in the largest area of ​​the apartment, the living room. A flat section that offers the ideal balance between plush and shape gave our client a chance to rest and relax. Without obstructing the path between the kitchen and bedroom, we grabbed a round coffee table that offset the more rectangular features of the room.

The bathroom was the next room on our list. White and gray tiles, along with a black wood unit and new chrome faucets, create a chic and quiet spot in this small house. A fresh coat of white paint was the perfect finish.

Finally, we tackled the bedroom and created a calm atmosphere by sourcing a clump West Elm bed frame with nail head covering. With the space between the bed and the window, we added a vanity that gives our customer space to get ready without obstructing the view.
